God the Father peered into the future of the world and saw the devastation, death and decay man would create.
He saw our vulnerability and how we would be left defenseless, destitute and bound to torment and death without a savior.
But there was no man on earth who was sinless who could remedy the cost of an exchange for a sinless body to be sacrificed to save a sinful mankind.
But God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son Jesus, as a living sacrifice for our sins.
This Jesus, the Son of God, willingly left eternity, came down to earth and put on humanity to be a pure blood bought exchange for our lives.
He was tempted in every way so that he would know our struggles.
He was shunned by the priesthood so he would be familiar with our seasons of rejection.
He experienced death & loss of friends so he would know our sorrow.
He experienced isolation so he would understand our loneliness.
He experienced agony so he would understand our moments of despair.
He willingly laid down his life for all humankind, even those who despised him.
He was beaten mercilessly, whipped, stripped publicly, shamed and spat upon.
Yet, he picked up his cross and carried it in excruciating pain to the place where he would be nailed to it.
This hill was called Golgotha (the place of the skull).
His head was infused with a crown of thorns.
His hands & feet were nailed to the cross he suffered on.
He took upon every sin, sickness & diseases that ever was or would be known in the world so we would escape death’s claws.
He was separated from his Heavenly Father for the first time in eternity. This separation partly caused his heart to stop. He felt forsaken. He was crucified and died on the cross so we could live eternally with him.
But redemption came, because he rose from death after three days to be seated at the right hand of God.
This is the love without limits that Jesus has for us, to take on our sins, pain & die for us.
If you believe this word that has been shared, then pray this prayer out loud and you will be saved.
